(PHOTOS) Chris Tucker, Mike Tyson, Cedric the Entertainer, Storm Reid and More Attend Star-Studded Pump Foundation Gala
It was another star-studded affair recently at 21st annual Harold & Carole Pump Foundation Gala, which benefits cancer treatment and research.
Each year, the foundation honors athletes, entertainment figures and others for their contributions, and this year was no different, with the gala recognizing music legend Smokey Robinson, NBA All-Star Isiah Thomas, basketball coach John Calipari, breast cancer survivor Gale Greene and D&H Co-President Dan Schwab.
The event was packed with many professional athletes and celebrities, who also walked the red carpet at The Beverly Hilton Hotel, including Chris Tucker, Stephen A. Smith, Storm Reid, Shaunie O’Neal, Matt Barnes, JB Smoove, Jeffrey Osborne and Tina Knowles.
The foundation was started by brothers, Dana and David Pump, in the name of their parents Harold and Carole Pump, who both died of cancer. By engaging the community, sports leaders, and those touched by cancer, the foundation has raised millions for the development of cancer treatments, programs and services, and the procurement of advanced medical technology.
This was the first Pump Foundation Gala since 2019, with the 2020 affair being canceled due to the pandemic.
