(PHOTOS) Lena Waithe, Cast of “Twenties” Celebrate Ground-Breaking Series at Premiere Party

Producer/writer Lena Waithe recently launched her ground-breaking BET series “Twenties” with a lavish premiere party held at Paramount Studios in LA.

Many actors, producers and television executives were on hand for the event, which was also attended by the show’s cast, including Jonica “JoJo” T. Gibbs, Christina Elmore and Gabrielle Graham.

Loosely based on Waithe’s life in her 20s, the comedy  series follows the journey of three friends—a young, lesbian woman and her two straight friends striving to make it in Hollywood.

“Twenties” airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. on BET.
