Video Interview: Remy Ma Takes Us Behind the Scenes of Her Historic Hot 97 Summer Jam Performance

Human Nature recently caught up with Remy Ma at the Annual Pre-BET Awards Dinner in Hollywood. Remy gave us the behind-the-scenes story of how her epic performance at the 2017 Hot 97 Summer Jam Concert came together — in which she brought together some of hip-hop’s greatest female emcees with some of the biggest female rappers of today, including Queen Latifah, MC Lyte, Lil Kim, Monie Love, Lady of Rage, Cardi B and Young M.A.

Remy didn’t just stop there, as she then launched in heart-wrenching version of her Nicki Minaj dis song “shETHER” during her Hot 97 Summer Jam performance.

The BET Weekend got even better for Remy that Sunday when she beat out Nicki to win “Best Female Rap Artist” at the BET Awards. Check out Human Nature’s one-on-one interview with Remy Ma, as well video of her Hot 97 performance below.
