(VIDEO) Marsai Martin Discusses the Success of “Little,” Being a Trailblazer for Young People

Fourteen-year old Marsai Martin is quite the mover and shaker in Hollywood.  For six seasons on ABC’s “Black-ish”, she’s played scene-stealing Diane Johnson, who delivers some of the wittiest lines of the show.

Most recently, Martin made headlines as the youngest person in history to produce a major film with the release of “Little.” The film has grossed over $50 million at the box office.

The industry has begun to recognize Martin’s unique talent. For example, she won the “Young Stars” Award at the 2019 BET Awards. A day earlier, she was named “Innovator of the Year” at the fourth annual Culture Creators brunch.

Human Nature caught up with Martin at the Culture Creators brunch, where she discussed the success of “Little” and being a trailblazer for other young people in the entertainment business. Watch interview below:
