Teyana Taylor and her close friends recently celebrated her becoming the first Black woman to grace the top of Maxim’s Hot 100 List as the sexiest woman alive.

The singer, dancer, model, and entrepreneur was all smiles at The Highlight Room in Hollywood as she was joined by many rappers, models, athletes, actors, and influencers.

Among the boldface names in attendance included Chris Brown, Offset, Jordan Clarkson, Stephen Jackson, Myles O’Neal, Klay Thompson, Quincy Combs, King Combs, Shantel Jackson, Glen “Big Baby” Davis, JR Smith, Jesse Metcalf, Ben Simmons, Damian Lillard and the Clermont Twins.

The event was produced by MADE special, a veteran entertainment and nightlife company.

Taylor, 30, has been ecstatic about the honor ever since the announcement was made June 7. She quickly took to her Instagram to share her enthusiasm.

“Somebody pinch me!!!!” Teyana captioned in a post. “WOW….Stepping back in front of the lens has been a journey of self-reflection and self-confidence. Living up to name and title of this shoot wholeheartedly made me nervous.”

She also spoke about the honor with Business Insider, saying a Black woman making the top of the list was long overdue.

“I’m just honored to be the sexiest woman alive in some cargo pants and a wife-beater,” Taylor told Business Insider. “But as far as being the first Black sexiest woman? That should have been done a long time ago.”

Taylor, who hails from Harlem, made her first national appearance on MTV’s “My Super Sweet 16.” In 2012, she signed with Kanye West’s GOOD Music label through Def Jam. She was also featured on West’s hit album “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” and has written records for artists, such as Usher, Chris Brown, and Omarion.

Taylor and her husband, NBA player Iman Shumpert, will star in a new reality series “We Got Love Teyana & Iman” which premieres on E! Aug. 18. The show follows the power couple as they balance romance, business and raising their two daughters, Rue and Junie.
