(PHOTOS) Sinqua Walls, Kelly Price, Jason Dirden, Tank and More Step Out on the Red Carpet at “American Soul” Screening in LA

BET’s new series “American Soul” recently held a screening in LA that was attended by the cast, celebrity guests and executives from BET.

American Soul, which premiered on Tuesday to rave reviews, details the story of Don Cornelius and how he built the Soul Train brand by being media-savvy businessman. The 10-part series merges fictional and real-life occurrences in the life or Cornelius to show how he created the Soul Train.

Many of the cast from American Soul, including Sinqua Walls, Kelly Price, Jason Dirden and Christopher Jefferson, were on hand for the event, as well as such celebrities as Tank and Robert Townsend. Also in attendance was Scott Mills, President of BET Networks, Connie Orlando, BET Head of Programming, and American Soul Executive Producers Tony Cornelius and Jesse Collins.
