(PHOTOS) Smokey Robinson, Gary Payton, Terrell Owens, Shaunie O’Neal, Tyronn Lue and Sports Legends Connect at Pump Group VIP Party in LA

Legends from the sports and entertainment world recently gathered at the Pump Group VIP Party, the precursor event to the annual Harold & Carole Pump Foundation Gala, which raises millions to fight cancer.

Held at The Gardens at The Beverly Hilton Hotel, the event brought together a mix of sports legends, including Gary Payton, Terrell Owens, Chris Mullin, Mitch Richmond and entertainment figures such as Smokey Robinson, who would be honored the next day at the 21th Annual Harold & Carole Pump Foundation Gala.

The foundation was started by two brothers, Dana and David Pump, in the name of their parents Harold and Carole Pump, who both died of cancer.  By engaging the community, sports leaders, and those touched by cancer, the foundation has raised millions for the development of cancer treatments, programs and services, and the procurement of advanced medical technology.

This was the first Pump Group VIP Party since 2019, with the 2020 affair being canceled due to the pandemic. At this year’s event, guests were able to network, mingle, dance and reconnect with colleagues throughout the evening.
