(PHOTOS) Tichina Arnold, Rapsody Lead Toast at Women in Hollywood and Music Celebration

Several unsung contributors to hip-hop culture were recently celebrated with a toast held before the 2019 American Music Awards. 

Held at STK in LA, the Pre-AMA Women in Hollywood & Music Celebration honored Tiffany Smith-Anoa’i, EVP, Entertainment Diversity, Inclusion & Communications for CBS Entertainment, and Gail Mitchell, Executive Director of R&B/Hip-Hop at Billboard magazine. 

Smith-Anoa’i was serenaded by actress Tichina Arnold, who made a short heart-warming speech about sisterhood and in the entertainment industry. Rapper Rapsody saluted Mitchell with remarks about the importance of her work to hip-hop.  

Several music and entertainment industry executives were also on hand for the event, which celebrated all women in Hollywood and music.
