Ciara, Megan Thee Stallion, Priyanka Chopra, Kelly Rowland and More Take Center Stage at Beautycon LA

Beauty influencers, bloggers, entrepreneurs and celebrities recently came together for Beautycon Festival LA, one of the biggest cosmetics summits in the world.

This year’s Beautycon featured a series of panel discussions, which focused on topics surrounding redefining beauty standards, staying on top of the rapidly-changing industry, and making the beauty space more inclusive for everyone. The festival also featured tutorials and demos, brand activations and giveaways.

Among the highlights includes a discussion with Ciara and Arianna Huffington, where the Grammy Award-winning singer discussed confidence and leveling up. “There is a power to loving yourself and taking care of yourself,” she said. “If you love yourself, you can love others the right way and get the love you deserve from others.”

Rapper Megan Thee Stallion has been known popularizing the phrase “hot girl summer.” Over the weekend, she participated in a fireside chat and explained what the term means: “Being a hot girl means that you are just a bad ass bitch, you’re turning it up and having a good time, you can do what you want to do,” she said. “Be a hot girl.”

Actress Priyanka Chopra also participated in a fireside chat about empowering women. In addition, Wuzzam Supa, Liza Koshy, Marsai Martin and Angie Nwandu discussed the importance of using their influence to make a positive difference in their communities, including how they use their platforms for social impact.

A diverse roster of celebrities, beauty brands and notable names included that Huda Kattan, Jeannie Mai, Tyra Banks, Kelly Rowland, Yalitza Aparicio, Maxine Waters, Kehlani, Hung Vanngo, Ming Lee, Mimi Choi, Sheika Daley, Erika La’ Pearl, Angela Davis, Rachel Goodwin and Karen Civil.
