Director Ava DuVernay on Donald Trump: “I Think He’s Insane” (VIDEO)

Acclaimed director, producer and writer Ava DuVernay has never been shy about expressing her political views.

Human Nature contributor Tony Anderson recently caught up with DuVernay at the 2017 Urbanworld Film Festival in New York on the red carpet for the mid-season premiere of OWN’s “Queen Sugar,” which DuVernay produces.

When asked about President Donald Trump’s recent comments regarding Colin Kaepernick and other NFL players taking a knee during the National Anthem, DuVernay said she has some serious questions about the sanity of the U.S. president.
