Dr. Jay Faber and Charmaine Blake Hosts Faber Ryan Youth Foundation Dinner with Special Guest Porscha Coleman

Breaking into the entertainment industry was among the topics discussed at a recent outing held by the Faber Ryan Youth Foundation, which helps at-risk youth pursue careers in the entertainment industry.

Actress Porscha Coleman (“Ballers”, “Dad Stop Embarrassing Me!”) was the special guest for the event. She shared many insights from her 20-year acting career with the youth in attendance.

“I’m so excited to be here with Charmaine Blake and the Faber Ryan Youth Foundation. It’s so amazing to link with such great people and have such great vibes, such great energy—that’s what it’s about,” Coleman said. “It’s so important for today’s youth to talk to people like myself or people that are older to see what’s on their mind and their hearts. It’s so inspiring.”

Each year, the Faber Ryan Youth Foundation invites youth in the program to participate in outings that allow them to experience different settings. In addition, the Faber Ryan Youth Foundation holds a weekly dinner, with an invited guest who the youth can learned from, such as entrepreneurs, entertainers and teachers.

The latest outing was held at the Saddle Ranch Chop House in West Hollywood. In addition to a delicious meal, guests were able to discuss the latest news, including the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, in addition to topics about the entertainment industry.

“I learned a lot from being associated with the Faber Ryan Youth Foundation, from big events to meeting big names, to learning how to move in this world. It’s amazing—a great opportunity,” said Jelani Khalfani, who attended the event.

Dr. Jay Faber, President of the Faber Ryan Youth Foundation, has worked to help empower today’s youth and help them reach their full potential by providing life, leadership and critical thinking skills.

“We’re here to serve our youth,” Dr. Faber said at the event. “I’m thankful for Porscha. I’m thankful to Charmaine. Give us a year, and you will see even more stories about how we’re helping the youth.”
