Facebook Taps Lonzo Ball and Family for New Docuseries

The Ball family, America’s second-most talked about family (behind the Kardashians, of course) will be talked about even more, as the family will be the subject of documentary series to be produced by Facebook.

The docuseries on the sons in the Ball family — Lonzo, LiAngelo and LaMelo — who have taken the basketball world by storm. Los Angeles Laker rookie guard Lonzo Ball, who was chosen No. 2 pick in the NBA Draft last month will be featured with LiAngelo and LaMelo, who are stand-outs at Chino Hills High School.

There’s also no word on how much we’ll see the Ball boys’ outspoken father, LaVar Ball, on the show, but we’re sure he’ll be a big part of the series.

In addition to Lonzo’ run up to the NBA Draft, the Ball family has been in the news recently for the release of their Big Baller Brand’s release of ZO2 sneakers and for LaVar’s recent appearance on WWE Raw.

Facebook has been making a push into providing more video content. A release date and the number of episodes of the Ball docuseries has yet to be announced.
