FX Hosts Cajun-Style Screening of Season 3 of ‘Snowfall’ During Essence Fest (PHOTOS)
FX Networks wrapped up a five-city screening tour of the highly anticipated third season of its hit drama “Snowfall” with a high-energy event that captured the best of New Orleans culture.
Held at the Joy Theater during Essence Festival, the popular Hot 8 Brass Band and NOLA Zulu Tramps got the crowd pumped to see the premiere episode of Season 3.
Following the screening, local radio disc jockey Wild Wayne moderated a Q&A session with the cast who shared their experiences working on the show and the impact the late John Singleton, the producer and creator of Snowfall, had on their careers.
Among the cast members in attendance included Amin Joseph, Angela Lewis, Damson Idris and Michael Hyatt, who were joined at the screening by writer Walter Mosley and Justin Singleton, daughter of the late director, who was honored with a tribute at the screening.
Snowfall airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET/9 CT on FX.
