Halle Berry, Jennifer Hudson, Regina King, Lady Gaga and More A-Listers Bring Hollywood Glam to Academy Museum of Motion Pictures Opening Gala (PHOTOS)

Hollywood’s elite showed up and showed out last night at the opening gala for the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in LA.

The museum, which is devoted to the history of the art and science of moviemaking, is the first of its kind in the U.S. Located on Wilshire Blvd. and Fairfax, the building encompasses seven floors of exhibition, education, and event spaces.

Though the museum, won’t officially open to the public until Sept. 30, the guests in attendance were able to get a sneak peek of the lavish facility.

At the opening gala, several legendary actors were honored, including Sophia Loren, Tom Hanks and Annette Bening, as well as filmmaker Haile Gerima and executive chairman of the Disney Company Bog Iger.

Many of Human Nature’s favorite celebrities were in attendance at the event, including Regina King, Halle Berry, Ava Duvernay, Issa Rae, Jennifer Hudson and more.
