(PHOTOS) Cardi B. Celebrates 29th Birthday with Dancehall Party; Megan Thee Stallion, Tiffany Haddish, Winne Harlow, Lizzo and Other Stars Attend and Turn Up
Cardi B. recently celebrated her 29th birthday as only she could—with a grand Caribbean dancehall style party that brought out hip-hop’s biggest stars.
Cardi’s “Passa Passa” Party, as it was billed, was a night to remember for its 200-plus guests, who partied to the wee hours of the morning after performances and appearances from several reggae artists, including Spice, Shensaa, Ding Dong and others.
Held at La River Studios in LA, the party was attended by a who’s who in hip-hop, including Cardi’s husband, Offset, Quavo, Lizzo, Megan Thee Stallion, Snoop Dogg, 2 Chainz, Teyana Taylor, Chance the Rapper, PNB Rock, Polo G, Sevyn Streeter and Normani.
Other VIPs at the party included Tiffany Haddish, Taraji P. Henson, Winnie Harlow, Ella Mai, Karrueche Tran, Shantel Jackson and more.
Inspired by the Passa Passa parties of Jamaica, where dancehall music, whining and exotic fashions are a staple, Cardi’s guests knew the assignment and delivered on the theme.
To top the off the night, Cardi’s husband, Offset, gifted her a six-bedroom, seven-and-a-half bedroom mansion in the Dominican Republic.
