Vanessa Bryant was honored last night at the star-studded Baby2Baby Gala, which celebrated the organization’s 10 years of helping children in homeless shelters, domestic violence programs and foster care.

Held at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, Bryant, 39, attended the event with her oldest daughter Natalia Diamante Bryant, who walked the red carpet with her mom in a pink satin dress.

Bryant was being honored with the Giving Tree Award for her support of the organization over the years.

“It’s not just to do it in the public eye, she really does do it behind the scenes,” said Baby2Baby co-CEO Kelly Sawyer in an interview with the AP. “She’s come to our events, she volunteers, she gives financially. She’s done so much for us and so to be here tonight with her after all she’s gone through and after what the world has gone through is a special moment for everyone I think.”

Bryant has kept a low profile since the tragic Jan. 2020 death of her husband, basketball great Kobe Bryant, her 13-year-old daughter Gianna and seven other people, in a helicopter crash.

In her acceptance speech, Bryant recalled how much Kobe loved to attend the Baby2Baby Galas.

“My husband Kobe loved attending Baby2Baby galas,” she said. “With his big smile, he would look at me and say, ‘Babe, this is freaking awesome. Tonight I’m your plus one, baby !’

Past recipients of the Giving Tree Award include Gwyneth Paltrow and Jessica Alba, who also attended the gala.

Many A-list celebrities attended the gala, including Nicole Richie, Kerry Washington, Rachel Zoe, Jennifer Garner, Jeff Bezos, Hillary Duff, Kate Hudson and more.
