(PHOTOS) ComplexCon Blows Into the Windy City

ComplexCon, the pop culture festival and exhibition, made its debut in Chicago over the weekend, showcasing music, art, food and best of all—sneakers

Typically held in Long Beach, Calif, the convention swung into the Windy City’s McCormick Place, featured many of the staples that has made the West Coast event, the place to be.

For example, ComplexCon Chicago included several shoe releases, pop-up shops and music performances from such artists as Rick Ross, Schoolboy Q, Juice WRLD, Ella Mai and Saweetie.

There were also celebrity appearances the convention, including Chicago native Lena Waithe, who sported varsity jacket designed with LA-based clothing company The Hundreds, which dropped some new merch at the two-day convention.

Rappers Dreezy and G-Eazy were also spotted at the Dreamville Records listening booth, featuring unreleased music from the label.

Other highlights from ComplexCon Chicago include:

-An all-star panel that included Paul Rivera, Steve Stoute, Don C and Karl-Anthony Towns titled “How NBA 2K20 Is Cultivating What’s Next in Culture” featured an in-depth discussion on the how NBA 2K20 video continues to push the culture forward and remains at the forefront of sports, fashion and music.

– Puma launched a collaboration with Alonzo “Fashion Geek” Jackson
