(PHOTOS) Kelly Rowland, Bobby Brown, Yo-Yo, Tito Jackson and Other Legends Attend Living Legends Foundation Gala
Several heroes in music and entertainment industries were recently recognized at the annual Living Legends Dinner and Gala in Hollywood.
Held at the Taglyan Complex, the gala was attended by a who’s who in the music industry, including Rowland, Bobby Brown, YoYo, Freda Payne and Tito Jackson, who performed his new single “One Way Street” and songs at the event.
Among the honorees at this year’s gala included Dyana Williams, co-founder of Black Music Month and the CEO of Influence Entertainment, who received the Lifetime Achievement Award. She was presented the award by Urban One founder Cathy Hughes.
Entertainment executive Phil Thornton, was recently named to Billboard’s 40 Under 40 list, was presented with the Gospel Music Executive Award by Kelly Rowland. In addition, Maurice White, Vice President of Promotion at eOne Entertainment Group, received the Music Label Executive Award.
The gala benefits the Living Legends Foundation, which provides financial assistance those in need in the music industry.
