(PHOTOS) LaLa Anthony, Lil Durk, Swae Lee, Chanel Iman and More Attend Teyana Taylor’s NYFW PrettyLittleThing Runway Show

Singer/actress/dancer Teyana Taylor recently made big strides in fashion with the debut of her new collection during New York Fashion Week.

Taylor, 30, presented her second collection as US Creative Director for trendy online retailer PrettyLittleThing for an audience of celebrities, fashion media, photographers and influencers at New York’s Gotham Hall.

A Harlem native, Taylor paid homage to New York’s subway system in the catwalk design, which meshed with the street-edgy designs featured in her collection.

Both women and men were used to model Taylor’s collection—a first for PrettyLittleThing, which typically produces women’s clothing. The show also featured a variety of models, including Lyric Mariah, an advocate for amniotic band syndrome, and Mya, a disability activist and model, who wore the purple sweatsuit inspired by the collection.

Other pieces in the paisley-infused collection included hoodies, cut-out dresses, wide-leg PU trousers, bucket hats and knee-high boots.

“I’ve been working on this second collection with PrettyLittleThing for months and I’m so excited to bring this to life at New York Fashion Week this season,” Taylor said in a statement ahead of the show.. “It’s so important to me as Creative Director for the USA that I work with a team who truly understands my vision and we’re catering for EVERYBODY. You’re going to see male models walking for the very first time as we showcase this unisex collection and reintroduce kidswear alongside some familiar faces on the catwalk.”

The show also featured Taylor’s five-year old daughter Junie, who stole the show when she strutted the catwalk in her mother’s designs. Guests were also treated to a performance from Lil Durk, who opened the show, and a deejay set from DJ Cassidy.

There were many celebrities in attendance at the show, including LaLa Anthony, Chanel Iman, her husband Iman Shumpert, Swae Lee, Joe Budden, Shaun Ross, Sevyn Streeter and more.
