(PHOTOS) Latto, Jozzy, Muni Long and More Honored, Baby Tate and Others Perform at the Inaugural Give Her FlowHERS Gala
Giving esteemed women in the entertainment industry recognition while they’re living was one of the key themes of the inaugural Give Her FlowHERS Awards Gala, held recently in Beverly Hills.
Held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, the awards ceremony was attended by a host of recording artists, influencers, executives and tastemakers, who graced the red carpet for photos and interviews.
Among those in attendance were rapper Latto, who received the “The Big Femme Energy Award”; songwrtier/artist Jozzy, who received the “The Pen It Forward Award”; Muni Long, who received “The Bloom Award,” and Akira Akbar who was the recipient of the “My Sister’s Keeper Award.
Other honorees included Kehlani, who received the “Alchemist Award”; Ciara and Russell Wilson, who were honored with the “Black Love Award” and Coco Jones “ who also received the “My Sister’s Keeper Award.”
Guests at the gala were also treated to performances from Baby Tate, Mapy The Violin Queen, Joyce Wrice and Alex Vaughn.
The Give Her FlowHERS Awards is the brainchild of Femme It Floward – a female-led music and entertainment company that celebrates, educates, and empowers the industry’s female visionaries through multi-format, multi-market consumer experiences. Such experiences include music festivals, concerts, original content, comedy shows, mentorship and more.
