Star power was back in full bloom at the 2021 Met Gala, which returned this year after being cancelled last year due to the pandemic.

Typically held in May, this year’s gala was held during New York Fashion Week, making this year’s event particularly special.

This year’s celebrity co-chairs included several high-profile members of Generation Z—Timothée Chalamet, Billie Eilish, poet Amanda Gorman and tennis star Naomi Osaka.

While this year’s MET Gala was a smaller, more intimate affair than in previous years, there was no shortage of the memorable fashions that have made the event a must-attend for celebrities and must-see entrances for their fans.

Using the “American Independence,” guests were able to display a wide variety of interpretations in their fashions. Other guests completely ignored theme, opting to push the limits of fashion on their own terms.

Held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, lucky fans waiting outside the barricades as their favorite celebrities pulled up to the lavish entrance.

Among the attendees at this year’s gala included the proclaimed “Queen “of the gala, Rihanna, who was there with her beau, A$AP Rocky, in addition to Kim Kardashian West, Lil Nas X, Mary J. Blige, Saweetie, Pharrell, Chloe and Halle Bailey, Cordae and Naomi Osaka, Chance the Rapper, Rita Ora and many more.
