Roddy Ricch, Mustard, Jhene Aiko and Trey Songz recently were among the celebrities to accept the “Feed Your City” Challenge, a nationwide effort to provide fresh groceries, meat and essential PPE supplies to underserved and underprivileged communities.
Joined by local leaders, the celebs were on hand to help pass out groceries and supplies to people in LA’s Baldwin/Crenshaw neighborhood who were able to pick up the goods contactless in their cars, as well as via walk up for residents without a car.
Founded by retired NBA player Ricky Davis through his Ricky Davis Legacy Foundation, and music industry executive Tony Draper, the Feed Your City challenge has been held in four other cities in a campaign to feed those in need during the coronavirus pandemic.
Previous challenges were held in Norfolk, VA with rapper Pusha T; Petersburg VA with Trey Songz; Brooklyn, New York with music executive Steven Victor in honor of Pop-Smoke; and in Oakland with Raphael Saadiq.
