(PHOTOS) Sports Agent Rich Paul Dishes on Today’s Professional Athlete at Bloomberg Power Players Summit
High-powered sports agent Rich Paul recently shared many insights about the careers of today’s professional athlete at the Bloomberg Power Players Summit, which brought together power brokers, senior executives, and world-class athlete.
Held at the iconic Sheats–Goldstein residence in Beverly Hills, Paul was joined on the panel by Jeremy Zimmer, CEO United Talent Agency, and former NFL player and FS1 host Emmanual Acho.
On panel, Paul discussed the on and off field activities of his star client, NBA superstar Lebron James, the branding of today’s athletes and his sports agency, Klutch Sports’, ongoing partnership with UTA.
Paul,40, also shared with those in attendance how he educates clients about sports business and how he guides them in decisions that will impact their careers and legacy.
Zimmer and Paul also discussed the transformation of traditional athlete representation in securing a client’s financial future. They discussed how representation has evolved to include the athlete cultivate a brand, anticipate how their fanbase is streaming–or where they are watching, or navigating their digital rights.
