(PHOTOS) Thousands Treated to Live Performances, Candidate Conversations and Overall Fun at BET Experience in LA

The BET Experience, a multi-day festival that showcases music, comedy and entertainment, once again returned to LA as a precursor to the 2019 BET Awards.

Among the BET Experience events returning included BET FanFest, concert performances at the Staples Center, Genius Talks, Celebrity Basketball, KickSperience, and Celebrity Dodgeball. 

Several new events were also added to the BET roster, including Roller Skating, Gaming Tournament and Next Rap Star.

BETX Live Refreshed by Coca-Cola will be held in the L.A. Live was also held BET Weekend. The event featured live performances from such artists at Saweetie, Lil Mosley and more.

Music fans got see some of their favorite artists at McDonald’s Black & Positively Golden music experience, which featured performances by Lil Yachty, Tobe Nwigwe and BJ the Chicago Kid, who performed “Turnin Me Up,” and songs from his new album, “1123,” which will be released July 26.
