(PHOTOS) Xscape, Yolanda Adams, Freddie Jackson and More Honored at 2019 Black Music Honors in Atlanta
Several of the greatest and favorite R&B and gospel singers were recently recognized at the 2019 Black Music Honors.
Held outside of Atlanta at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, the two-hour television special honored Arrested Development, Freddie Jackson, Tamia, Yolanda Adams, who received Gospel Music Icon Award, and Xscape, who received the Urban Music Icon Award.
Hosted by Rickey Smiley and Letoya Luckett, Black Music Honors featured performances by Avery Wilson, Jagged Edge, Naughty By Nature, Keke Wyatt, Kelly Price, Melanie Fiona, 702 and MAJOR
Black Music Honors will air Oct. 20 on Bounce TV. The show will also air in national broadcast syndication, Sept. 14 – Oct. 20. The broadcast schedule is available at www.blackmusichonors.com.
