Stephen A., Michael Eric Clash Over Mark Cuban Race

A heated debate broke out this week between always-opinionated sports commentator Stephen A. Smith and noted sociologist Michael Eric Dyson.

Smith had been defending comments on ESPN’s First Take that he made earlier in the week, saying he didn’t have an issue with Dallas Mavericks owner stating he would “cross the street” if saw a black kid in a hoodie at night, and that the basketball franchise owner would do the same if approached by a ” bald white guy with tattoos all over his body.”

Dyson, respectfully disagreed with Stephen A., and an interesting debate about the harm of Cuban’s words ensued.
