(VIDEO INTERVIEW) Terry Crews on Whether He’s Received Backlash From Sexual Assault Revelation

Actor Terry Crews took a big career risk in October when he revealed via Twitter that he too was a victim of sexual assault at the hands of a powerful Hollywood agent.

Last week, Crews, 49, filed a lawsuit against his alleged assaulter, Adam Venit, and the powerful William Morris Endeavor agency, for assault, battery and sexual harassment, among other charges.

Human Nature recently caught up with Crews, joined by his wife Rebecca, on the red carpet at the 2017 GQ Men of the Year party in LA.

Crews, who was named one of the “Silence Breakers” by Time magazine for its “Person of the Year” issue, said that while he has received some backlash on social media, overall, he is satisfied with his decision to speak out, as it lent a voice to others who may not willing to share their stories.

“There are a lot men that this has happened to who could never admit it,” Crews told Human Nature. “I want to lead and let people to know that if this happened you, you don’t have internalize it.”
