Cincinnati rapper Skylar Blatt is the next big up-and-coming artist. Her hit single “Wake Up” featuring none other than Chris Brown has so far generated more than 32 million global streams and 12 million YouTube video views.

Proving that she’s no one-hit wonder, Skylar is back with a new single “Hold Me Down” – a bouncing romance song for the summer where she sings and raps about being supported in a relationship.|

Human Nature recently caught up with Skylar in New York where she discussed the new single, what it was like working with Chris Brown, who music inspirations growing up and more.
