(VIDEO) Watch Interview with Late “Voice” Singer Janice Freeman
The world was shocked to learn that “Voice” contestant, singer Janice Freeman, died yesterday from a blood clout at the age of 33.
Freeman, who had an amazing voice and developed a huge following from the show, was very open about her health issues, including her battle with cancer, which she survived, and her ongoing struggles with lupus.
Her family confirmed news of her death in an Instagram post that read:
“We are heartbroken to report that Janice Freeman passed away on March 2, 2019 from an extreme case of pneumonia and a blood clot that traveled to her heart,” the statement reads. “A survivor and fighter, and a beautiful force in this world … her story inspired fans nationwide.”
Human Nature spoke with Janice Freeman in 2018 at the Unstoppable Awards about her ongoing fight with her health issues and how her story could inspire others.
