(WATCH) Cast of Tyler Perry’s “Ruthless” Dish on BET Plus’ Newest Drama Series

Tyler Perry has done it again.

The famed writer/director/producer is taking his audience into new territory with a spinoff of his popular show “The Oval” with a new drama series, “Ruthless.”

Airing on the BET Plus streaming service, “Ruthless” follows Ruth, played by Melissa L. Williams, who kidnaps her young daughter to join her in the underworld of a religious cult.

“Ruthless” is the first new original series from Tyler Perry to stream on BET+, a joint venture between BET Networks and Tyler Perry Studios.

The first three episodes of the one-hour drama are available now, with new episodes launching every Thursday.
