What’s in a Name?

There aren’t too many acronyms as well known as the NAACP. But as the organization approaches its 90th anniversary, some are calling on the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People to change its name to appeal to a younger generation. To toss out a couple names, might we suggest one of the following:

NAAAD – National Association for the Advancement of the African Diaspora
NAAAP – National Association for the Advancement of All People NAPAA – National Advancement Project for African Americans AAAA – Association for the Advancement of African Americans NSBP – National Society of Black Progression.. (SEE USER POLL)
