(PHOTOS) Eddie Murphy, Samuel L. Jackson, Snoop Dogg, Tracy Morgan and More Attend ‘Dolemite’ Is My Name’ Premiere In LA

It was like 1975 all over again recently at the Los Angeles premiere of “Dolemite Is My Name”, the highly anticipated Netflx movie about blaxploitation filmmaker Rudy Ray Moore.  

The movie’s star-studded cast were all in attendance, including Eddie Murphy, who is generating significant award buzz for his portrayal of Moore in the film.  

Held at the Regency Village Theatre in Westwood, the premiere featured retro suits inspired by Moore’s Dolemite wardrobe, a 70s-style orange carpet and a performance from legendary soul group, The O’Jays. 

Among the stars in attendance included Tracy Morgan, Samuel L. Jackson, Snoop Dogg, Mike Epps, Wesley Snipes, Kennan Ivory Wayans, Tituss Burgess, Luenell, Keegan Michael Key and Craig Robinson.  

“Dolemite Is My Name” will premiere in select theaters on Oct. 4 and begins streaming on Netflix Oct. 25.
