It was a star-studded affair as Ebony Magazine recently celebrated its Power 100 list with a gala honoring such stars as Dwayne Johnson, Dave Chapelle, Donald Glover, Viola Davis, as well as the “brilliant minds of color making advances in technology and politics.”

Held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif, the event brought out some of the biggest names in film, television, sports and politics, including Magic and Cookie Johnson, Sugar Ray Leonard, Naturi Naughton, Laz Alonzo, Matt Barnes, Tommy Davidson, Michael Ealey, Keith Powers, Woody McClain, Algee Smith, Dawn Lewis, Kenny Smith, Janice Bryant Howroyd and Anthony Anderson.

The 2017 Ebony Power 100 list celebrates the world’s most inspiring African-Americans who “lead, inspire and demonstrate through their individual talents, the very best in Black America.” The Power 100 list continues Ebony’s 70-year history of honoring heroes in the Black community.
