Vic Mensa Dodges Jail Time in Gun Charge

Roc Nation artist Vic Mensa will be avoiding jail time in his “carrying of concealed weapon” case stemming from a March traffic stop in Beverly Hills.

As reported by TMZ, Vic Mensa will receive two years probation after pleading no contest to carrying a concealed firearm in his car. The second count of carrying an unregistered loaded firearm was dropped, according to TMZ.

Mensa, who hails from Chicago, was facing as much as two years in prison.

This is good news for Mensa, who recently released a new album, “The Autobiography,” with the blessings of Roc Nation boss Jay-Z at well-publicized listening party in LA.
